Mission

The Harvard Club of Chicago is dedicated to fostering a strong and welcoming community of local Harvard University alumni through engaging programs and events, to serving the interests of Harvard in the Chicago region, to promoting Harvard’s values of service, education and leadership, and to providing alumni with opportunities to serve Harvard and the local community. 

We are committed to providing a tolerant and inclusive community for our membership and all alumni representing diverse generations, backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.

We offer a multitude of service opportunities, programs and events each year with a focus on serving our membership, our local community, and Harvard. Suggestions are always welcome!

HCC Service

  • Tutoring at Cook County Correctional Facilities

  • Interviewing Harvard College Applicants

  • Early College Awareness program for students & parents at local schools

  • Hosting/Attending College Fairs at local high schools

  • Hosting College Interviewing Workshops at local high schools

  • Awarding Harvard Prize Books to local high school juniors recognizing achievement and service

  • HCC Annual Award in recognition of individuals who are leaders in serving the Chicago-area community.
