Please join us for the first annual Mickey Hammerman Legacy Event on Thursday, September 14, 2023.

The Michigan Room, University Club of Chicago, a buffet lunch will be served.

Our guest speaker will be Mickey’s dear friend, Howard Gardner, The John H. and Elizabeth A. Hobbs Research Professor of Cognition and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

This event is free to attendees, funded by the Mickey Hammerman Legacy Fund.

Mickey Hammerman Annual Legacy Event and How to Donate

Throughout his life, Mickey was devoted to education and to Harvard, with a special focus on Chicago-area students interested in attending Harvard College. One of Mickey’s great life passions was to ensure that as many students as possible from the Chicago Region were admitted to the College. For more than 50 years, Mickey led the charge as Chair of the HCC Schools Committee by ensuring that applicants from the area received personal college interviews.
