As a Harvard Club of Chicago member, you will become part of a supportive and vibrant local Harvard community. All Members of the Club receive the following benefits:

  • Free membership in our HCC-only virtual club

  • Priority, advance purchase for popular events (previous programs include exclusive conversation with White Sox GM and Ivy League mixers!)

  • Advance registration and timely announcements of Club events and activities

What is the new HCC Virtual Club?

Through an online platform, HCC members will be able to gather & connect in HCC-only discussion and content spaces on topics of interest to our members. Launching soon, the HCC virtual club will be free for HCC members and limited to HCC members only. You can learn more here: HCC Connect.

Harvard Alumni Benefits & Resources

Do you know that Harvard Alumni have benefits such as access to Harvard libraries, athletic facilities and faculty club membership as well as resources such as career networking, online courses, and access to electronic journals curated by the Harvard Library? Eligibility

Harvard Club of Chicago Membership is open to:

  • All Harvard University Alumni (Harvard University schools or programs)

  • Current Harvard University Students (complimentary)

  • Parents of Harvard University Students or Alumni

  • Current or Former Harvard University Faculty

  • Widows/Widowers of Harvard Alumni (complimentary)

Levels

We offer a number of different membership levels to suit the various needs and resources of our members. We are committed to remaining open to all who wish to be part of our community, so if your resources are limited right now, please see our complimentary option.

Choose between several options to join or renew your membership.

Starting July 1, 2026, Membership options include:

  • Regular Membership – $60/year

  • Benefactor Membership – $150/year, including optional recognition on the HCC website

  • Sustaining Membership – $250 for 5 years at a discounted annual rate

  • Sustaining Benefactor Membership – $1,250 for 5 years, including optional website recognition

Starting July 1, 2026, Membership terms are for 1 year, ending 365 days from the date of joining/renewing.

Complimentary Memberships will remain available for current students, parents of current students, recent graduates (1 year prior), and widows/widowers of alumni/ae.

Complimentary memberships are also provided to those with limited resources. Please just let us know.

These updates are intended to help further the Club’s mission by supporting alumni engagement, programming, and long-term sustainability, while also creating additional opportunities for members to contribute to the HCC community.
