The Harvard Club of Chicago, invites you to an exclusive get-together with Ambassador Gregory Slayton (MBA 1990) to discuss Ukrainian history and the current humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.  The Ambassador’s book, now an Amazon bestseller, "Portraits of Ukraine: A Nation at War" launched officially on February 24th, 2025 (the 3rd anniversary of the Russian invasion) with endorsements by President Zelensky, Mike Pence, Ukrainian Ambassador to the US Markarova, and dozens of US and Ukrainian Senators, CEOs, and VIPs.

The Honorable Gregory W. Slayton (MBA ‘90)

The Honorable Gregory Winston Slayton is an American professor, diplomat, author, businessman, and philanthropist. Hailing from the great state of New Hampshire, Slayton now resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and children. He is also a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Leadership at Peking University Business School in Beijing. Slayton was appointed by President George W. Bush as the United States Consul General and Chief of Mission to Bermuda, a position he held for four years from his swearing in by Secretary of State Rice on August 15, 2005 until August, 2009. He was awarded the Distinguished Foreign Service Award by Senate and House Leadership in 2010 (the only Bush Ambassador so honored). He also appeared recently on dozens of major media to discuss the war in Ukraine including Fox & Friends, Morning Joe and many others.
